Cal Raleigh, a former Smoky Mountain standout, will compete in the Home Run Derby with his dad, former Tennessee coach Todd Raleigh, pitching.
The Dodgers' Teoscar Hernandez will be passing off the Home Run Derby crown. The Dodgers slugger eked out a win over the Royals' Bobby Witt Jr. with 14 home runs in the final round, one more than Witt's 13. Witt, finished with one more homer for the overall event, hitting 50 to Hernandez's 49.
Atlanta's own Ronald Acuña Jr. will represent the Braves and look to take home the chain in front of a home crowd. Though Acuña didn't make his season debut until late May, he's been on fire since returning to the field and is now up to 11 home runs, 20 RBI and a .336 batting average in 41 games.
The field is set for the 2025 T-Mobile Home Run Derby, which will take place Monday (8 p.m. ET, ESPN) at Truist Park in Atlanta. Here's a breakdown of the eight sluggers who are set to square off in this year's version of the annual power-hitting competition.
