Over 100 people have died after heavy rain pounded Kerr County, Texas, early Friday, leading to "catastrophic" flooding, the sheriff said.

The death toll in the July 4 Central Texas flooding rose to 103 on Friday as the search continued for those still missing.

As tears streamed down their faces, community members looked at the photos attached to a growing memorial wall.

A memorial wall honoring the victims of last Friday’s devastating flood is growing along Water Street in Kerrville, Texas. The fifty-foot-long tribute, lined with flowers and photos, was organized by a man from Miami to help the community remember those lost.
