Sean Manaea, who battled through oblique and elbow injuries over the past few months, will look to continue his career resurgence in the New York Mets' finale against the Kansas City Royals on Sunday.

The Mets' Sean Manaea made his season debut after being activated off the 60-day IL, giving up one run and five hits while striking out seven in 3 1/3 innings.

The New York Mets on Sunday reinstated Sean Manaea from the 60-day injured list, making him available out of the bullpen for his first MLB action of the season in an afternoon contest with the Royals in Kansas City.
