HOHENSTEIN-ERNSTTHAL, Germany (Reuters) -Marc Marquez proved once again why he is known as the 'King of Sachsenring' when the Ducati rider marked his 200th MotoGP start by winning the German Grand Prix on Sunday in a race that became a test of survival after only 10 riders finished.

Marc Marquez took his fourth consecutive grand prix win and his ninth MotoGP victory at the Sachsenring as he dominated the German Grand Prix. The factory Ducati rider was unchallenged as he led the full distance from pole position.

Di Giannantonio’s VR46 Ducati team-mate Franco Morbidelli ran second behind Bezzecchi for the first two laps of the race before crashing out in frightening fashion at Turn 8 on lap three. Damp-weather fan Jack Miller came through to finish fifth for Pramac Yamaha, with Brad Binder scoring an encouraging sixth for KTM.
