Pete DeJoy took over following former CEO Andy Byron’s resignation after he was captured on a “kiss cam” with a fellow Astronomer employee, who is not his wife, at a Coldplay concert.

Days after the viral Coldplay kiss cam scandal, Astronomer confirmed that following the resignation of Andy Byron, its interim CEO Pete DeJoy has stepped into the role full-time

"Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met," the company said in a statement.
